Where: Start and finish is at Rose Run Park on Dublin-Granville Road, adjacent to the McCoy Center for the Arts
Distance: 5k (3.1 miles)
Join us for the inaugural Rose Run 5k and celebrate the opening of New Albany's beautiful new Rose Run Park. This is a family-friendly event that is open to runners and walkers!
The Rose Run 5k is a new event in 2021 that will kick off the New Albany’s Founders Day festivities! Start your morning off with a 3.1 mile fun walk/run through the picturesque New Albany community. You can participate as an individual, with your friends, family or by creating a team with your co-workers. New Albany Founders Day is a tradition that the city has observed since 1976.
There will be no official rate entry fee associated with the event however donations are graciously accepted.
The Rose Run 5k Entry Fee: It's Up To You
We want you to promote your health through physical activity as well as enjoy the Founders Day activities that include the dedication of Rose Run Park. Come out and run or walk the inaugural Rose Run 5k (3.1 miles). ENTRY TO THE EVENT IS FREE. However your support of Healthy New Albany through a donation made through the race registration site would be so very much appreciated. 100% of your donation will support Healthy New Albany's programs and services. Every participant will receive a soft tech race tee shirt with a minimum of a $35 donation.
